New high school complex for Saints Peter & Paul in Easton, MD

What We Did.
After outgrowing their current facility, Saints Peter & Paul issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) in 2019 for a new High School complex, to be located adjacent to the existing Saints Peter & Paul Church in Easton, MD.
We partnered with Willow Construction and prepared a bid to supply & erect over 60,000 sf of pre-engineered metal building systems – 11 different buildings packaged together to make one overall metal building. Willow was awarded the project as the General Contractor, and we soon got to work ordering the buildings and working with the design team.

The Result.
A&S Building Systems (now Star Building Systems) engineered, fabricated, and delivered over 300 tons of metal building components for the project, including trapezoidal-rib Double-Lok roof panels and Mesa Insulated Metal Wall Panels from Metl-Span. Materials delivered in July of 2020, during the height of lockdowns for the COVID-19 Pandemic, but we were still able to get to work and have all components erected by July of 2021. The 11 buildings for the project each attached together to make one large building with continuous hallways inside and an interior courtyard. Buildings included a new gym, auditorium, cafeteria, various classroom wings, and a main entrance/administrative area. We even provided insulated wall panels and Batten-Lok roof panels for the new clock tower.
