What We Did.
New construction relocation Ridgely into the new full-service fire station. Approx. 20,000 sq ft building consisting of 6 bays for the fire department and addition for Caroline County Department of Emergency Services EMS. The final building included a large training room, kitchen, banquet room, and bunks.
The structure was a pre-engineered Star Building Systems® building product and features complete WiFi and a full sprinkler system.
The flooring for the building was of particular importance to the Fire Department. It had to be perfectly level within very tight tolerances and prepared to receive the final protective coating for the floor.
On the day the town of Ridgely celebrated its 150th anniversary, The Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department had a ribbon-cutting ceremony including dinner, local politicians, and a parade of trucks to the new station.
